Email Settings

With the WordPress Registration Form Plugin, you can configure automatic emails for these situations:

  1. User registered without inputting a password
  2. User has been registered (user notification)
  3. User has been registered (admin notification)
  4. User has to confirm his account in order to activate it
  5. User's account has been deleted
  6. User wants to reset the password
  7. Self register
  8. User changed his email and has to confirm it
  9. Password email by admin

To customize the email settings, navigate to Admin Dashboard â†’ CM Registration Pro â†’ Settings.

Head to the Email tab.

Here, you can customize the emails sent to users who register on your site. HTML and shortcodes are supported.

User registered without inputting a password

If you let users register without a password, they will receive this email with instructions on how to create one. Learn more: WordPress Registration Form Plugin (CMREG) - Settings - Registration Settings.

Customize the email subject using the shortcode [blogname].

Customize the email body template with the following shortcodes:

  • [userfirstname]
  • [userlastname]
  • [userlogin]
  • [siteurl]
  • [resetpasswordurl]

You can also enable or disable sending this email notification using the option Enable password email to user after register. Note: this option was introduced in version 3.5.3.

Welcome Email

The welcome email is sent to the user after the account is activated.

Customize the email subject and body template using the following shortcodes:

  • [blogname]
  • [siteurl]
  • [userdisplayname]
  • [userlogin]
  • [useremail]
  • [linkurl]
  • [userrole]
  • [userfirstname]
  • [userlastname]

New User Notification to Admin

This is the email sent to the admin when a new user is registered on the site. The first option allows you to turn this feature on or off. Note: this email notification was introduced in version 3.5.0.

Add additional email addreses for notifying using the field for Carbon copy email. Note: this option was introduced in version 3.5.5.

Customize the email subject using the shortcode [blogname].

Customize the email body template with the following shortcodes:

  • [blogname]
  • [siteurl]
  • [userdisplayname]
  • [userlogin]
  • [useremail]
  • [userrole]

  • [userlastname]

Activation Email

This is the email sent to users containing the link to verify the email address and activate the user's account.

Account Deleted Email

This email is sent to users who had their accounts deleted. The first option allows you to turn this feature on or off.

Reset Password Email

This email is sent to users who ask for a password reset. The first option allows you to turn this feature on or off. Note: this email notification was introduced in version 2.7.6.

Edit profile confirm email

This email is sent to the user who changed his email and has to confirm this email. The first option allows you to turn this feature on or off. Note: this email notification was introduced in version 3.1.8.
