Shortcodes - Managing Multiple Categories
The Pro edition of the CM Answers plugin lets you create multiple forum categories and display them on different locations on your site’s pages and posts by inserting a shortcode containing all category questions.
This way, you can have multiple discussion boards aimed for different user groups, all in one WordPress website!
Create Multiple Forum Categories
To define your Multiple forum categories, you first need to add them in the CM Answers admin menu. You can have as many categories as you wish.
Filtering Multiple forum categories
Once you’ve defined your Multiple forum categories in the main answers page, users will be able to search for answers according to specific categories by using the drop down menu.
Placing your Multiple forum categories on different pages and posts

This shortcode is defined to display the last two questions from the category named “first”, in addition to one “ask a question” form. On the front end, the information will look like this:
Click on the Appearance tab and scroll down to the navigation section where you can find the following settings.

- Allow to post questions only in subcategories when the two-level categories filter enabled - Works only when two-level categories filter is set. If disabled, users will be able to post questions to any category. If enabled, users will be able to post questions only in the subcategories.
