Obtaining a Facebook App ID and App Secret

Note: After obtaining the App ID and App Secret, it's important to perform some additional actions, listed below.

1. The first thing to do is go to Facebook Developer Page and then click Add a New App. The name of the app is not relevant.

You might have to solve a ReCaptcha to successfully create it.

2. Click on Dashboard and you will see the App ID and the App Secret to in the Dashboard box. Take note of them.



Note: there is no need to use the PRODUCTS section.

Additional Configuration

3. To finish configuring the Facebook Integration, head to Settings → Basic and click on + Add Platform on the end of the page. In the next step please choose Website platform.
4. The field "Website" will appear. Insert your webstore's URL in it.
