Multi User Magento 2 - Limiting Order Approval Amount for Delegated Approvers
Limiting Order Approval Amount For Delegated Approvers
Master account users and site administrators are both able to limit the amount by which delegated sub-account order approvers are able to approve carts.
Setting the Order approval limit as a master account user
From the Customer Panel, navigate to Manage Subaccounts. Identify the subaccount profile that is to have an order approval limit set. Click on Edit for this sub-account.
Within the Edit Subaccount page find the Additional Configuration section and the Order Approval Amount field. In this field enter the limit that you would like to set for this user above which they will not be able to approve carts.
Ensure that the Can Approve Orders checkbox has been checked.
Click Save to save the changes.
Setting the Order approval limit as site Administrator
From the admin panel navigate to Customers → All Customers. Identify the sub-account that is to have an approval limit imposed. Click on the parent account user name for that sub-account.
The edit Parent account page will open. From the menu on the left click on the Manage Subaccounts menu option to reveal the table of Sub accounts associated with the account.
Click on the row of the chosen sub-accounts to reveal the Edit Subaccount page.
Click on the Additional Configuration tab from the lefthand menu.
In the field labeled Order Approval Amount enter the limit to which this sub-user is able to approve other sub-users.
Finally, click on the Save button to save the changes.
It is important to note that when making these changes through the Admin Panel the sub-account still needs to have their Permission set to Can Approve Orders from the Permissions tab.
