Replace WP Comments with WordPress Questions and Answers

The WordPress Questions and Answers integrates with the default WordPress comments feature.
The administrator or editor is able to replace the default WP comments region which is displayed below the content of the page or post with a CM Answers forum widget.
Below is the default WP comment feature available on pages and posts:
Enabling WordPress Questions and Answers on Pages and Posts
To enable questions for a page, go to the Edit page view. The Discussion box will now have a new option Replace comments with the CM Answers category.
For each post/page, you can select an existing plugin category to replace default comments.
You can also create a new category of questions for your page.
When a user posts his comment on a post or page, it will appear in that question category.
All comments will be displayed in a default questions table.
Controlling the Q&A Widget look and Feel
In the plugin settings under Appearance → Miscellaneous section you can define the shortcode which is used to control the look and feel of the comments widget.
To change the look and feel you can use any of the existing attributes for the shortcode to control this comments widget
- Attributes for shortcode replacing default comments - If you replaced the default comments on a post or page, instead of default comments, the questions from the chosen category will be displayed using a shortcode with these attributes. You can use the same attributes as in the cma-questions shortcode.
Genesis Theme By StudioPress
The Genesis Theme is known to need a special settings change in order for the answers to properly replace WordPress comments.
The procedure is easy:
- Head to Admin Dashboard → Genesis → Theme Settings.
Under Comments and Trackbacks, check Enable Comments "on pages".
- For each page that you don’t want comments, head to the the Discussion metabox and uncheck "Allow Comments".
