How To Allow Purchasing Points Only With PayPal and Purchasing Products Only With Points

WordPress MicroPayments Plugin lets your site users to buy points using PayPal only and buy products in EDD or WooCommerce using points only.

Purchasing Points Via PayPal Only

Let's start with configuring the WordPress MicroPayments to let users purchasing points via PayPal payment system only.

Navigate to Admin Dashboard → CM Micropayment Platform→ Settings.

First thing you need to do is to make sure that points will not be purchased via EDD or WooCommerce.

Head to the General tab. When EDD or WooCommerce are activated, at the top of General tab will be displayed relevant sections with options for these payment plugins. Make sure that the options Use Easy Digital Downloads for Checkout and Use WooCommerce for Checkout are disabled.

Next step - head to the PayPal tab.

There you need to enable the option Use the built-in PayPal gateway? and then configure all needed options to make it work.

When you finish configuring the plugin settings, don't forget to click the button Save at the bottom of the page.

Purchasing Products Using MicroPayments Points Only

Now let's consider how to configure purchasing products in EDD or WooCommerce using points only.

EDD

Navigate to Admin Dashboard → Downloads → Settings.

Head to the Payment Gateways tab.

Here we need two following options:

Payment Gateways - Check here the box CM Micropayment Gateway and uncheck all other boxes.
Default Gateway - Here you need to choose CM Micropayment Gateway as default.

Now click the button Save Changes on the bottom of the page.

Now users are able to buy products in EDD using points only.

WooCommerce

Navigate to Admin Dashboard → WooCommerce → Settings.

On this page you need to enable the option CM MicroPayment and disable all other payment methods. Then click the button Save changes.

Now users are able to buy products in WooCommerce using points only.
