Special Promotions (M2) - Configuration
Configuration
To configure the general settings, please navigate to Stores → Configuration → CMINDS → Special Promotions.
General
Enabled - activate the extension by choosing Yes in the dropdown. To disable the extension for your Magento 2 store, select the No option.
Skip Settings
If you have products with special or tier prices and don't want to apply promotion rules to these items, the Special Promotions extension leaves the items with special and tier prices for separate products. After you select "Skip Items With..." all the promotions rules won't be applied to the discounted items. And vice verse, once you need to apply promo rules to all the products in your store, choose all "No" in all Skip Settings.
These settings are:
- Skip Items with Special Price - select Yes in the dropdown, if you don’t want to apply any promotion rules to products with special prices. The promotion rules include Cart Price Rules, Catalog Price Rules and Coupon Codes.
- Skip Items with Tier Price - choose the option Yes, if you don’t want to apply promotion rules to the products with tier prices. The promotion rules include Cart Price Rules, Catalog Price Rules and Coupon Codes.
- Skip Configurable Items when Child has Special Price - select the option Yes, if you don’t want to apply promotion rules for configurable products if their child items have a special price.
