How to Add An Auto Related Product Rule

To add a new rule, go to CMINDS AUTO RELATED PRODUCT RULES in the Admin panel and click the button New Rule above the list. Then you will be redirected to the separate page New Auto Related Product Rule to add a rule.

New Auto Related Product Rule

There are four sections to be configured before the rule is activated.

Rule Details - allows adding a rule's title and limiting its visibility for store views and certain customer groups.

Display Configurations - configures how the related products are to be displayed in the block.

Auto Related Product Position - defines the block's position on pages on the Frontend.

What to Display - defines what products should be displayed.

Rule Details

Enable Rule - sets the status for the rule. Once you Enable the rule, it will be available for users on the Frontend. If you choose Disable, the extension won't display the rule on the Frontend.
Name - adds the title for the rule. The title will be visible for the admin only. Please note the field is required.
Priority - sets the priority for each rule. If there are several rules on one page, you can set the priority to show the necessary block at first.
Stores - shows where the rule should be available. Hold the CTRL key and click the multiple items in the list to choose them (Windows), or hold the Command key down to select the items (Mac).
Customer Groups - allows choosing what customer groups can see the rule. Hold the CTRL key and click the multiple items in the list to choose them (Windows), or hold the Command key down to select the items (Mac).

Display Configurations

Display Heading Title - shows the rule's title visible for the users on the Frontend.
Show "Add to Cart" Button - shows or hides the Add to Cart button for each related product.
Show "Out of Stock" Products - if the related products are out of stock, the setting will allow showing the themes in the block. If you want to hide such products, click Disable.
Maximum Products in Auto related - shows the maximum number of the products in the block.
Sort by - the extension allows sorting the products by Newest, Random, Name, Price: high to low, Price: low to high.

Auto Related Product Position

Auto Related Product Position - allows choosing the area where to place the block with related products. There are three main sections to place the block. Before Native Related Block is set by default.

Custom Position

This option provides a custom code to be inserted into layout. Thus you can place any blocks anywhere on your website.

Insert the code into your page layout:

If ALL of these conditions are TRUE - sets what products should be displayed in the block. Leave the conditions blank if you want to apply for all products. When these items are clicked, they will display different options. If you click on ALL, there is an option of ANY. If you click on TRUE, there is an option of FALSE.

To add a condition, click the Add icon and choose the attribute in the list. Then choose an action and specify the values.

Show only for "Out of Stock" Products - the related products will be displayed for "Out of Stock" products only if you enable the setting. The option No is set by default.
