The WordPress File Manager Plugin comes with a support forum module that can be added to the download page. You can also integrate it with the WordPress Questions and Answers forum which is much more advanced instead of the built-in support forum . Using the Built-in Support Forum
The built-in support forum appears as a tab inside the download page:
You can make the forum mandatory to all downloads by visiting the Support forum section under the Download Page tab in the plugin settings:
You can choose to enable it for all downloads, another option is to let the user decide if the support forum should be active.
Support Forum Notifications
The support forum sends notifications for new messages to the user who posted the downloads and also let users who posted a message to follow any answers posted.
