Support Forum User Notifications

Users who submit downloads to the WordPress File Manager plugin can receive notifications for support-related submissions in the following cases:

  • If they are the creator of the download and have checked the “Notify me on new support topics” when they submitted the download:

  • If they are someone who has submitted a support question and have checked the “Notify me of follow” when they submitted their question:

If you would like to control the structure and the kinds of notification messages that users receive, please visit the Notifications tab in the plugin settings.

New Download Email Notification Shortcodes:

  • [blogname] - name of the blog
  • [title] - new download title
  • [link] - link to download page
  • [author] - uploader name

Support Thread Notification Email Shortcodes:

  • Download name: [addon_title]
  • Support topic title: [thread_title]
  • Link to support topic: [comment_link]
