Adding Products With the Community Add-on

If you use the Member Directory Community add-on, you can also let your users add products to their expert pages. Users can edit expert pages that they own from the front-end. We will not go through the whole process of configuring the add-on and how it looks like on the front-end, you can learn more about it in this guide: WordPress Member Directory Plugin + Community (CMEDC) - Use Case - Creating Directory Where Users Suggest Experts

Here we will consider only a few moments that are relevant to the product offering.

  1. Visible - Enable this option if you want to allow your users to add products to their expert pages. If disabled, the functionality of adding products won't be visible in the expert editing form.
  2. Mandatory - Enable it, if you want adding products to the expert pages to be required.
