Dropship is a shipping method where the supplier does not keep the products in the online store. All the items are stored in different warehouses allowing the suppliers not to accumulate all the products in one store. The Dropship Notification add-on allows the admin to send e-mails to the suppliers notifying that their orders are ready to be dropshipped. 

After installing the add-on, you can access the configuration panel by navigating to STORES → Configuration and then CMINDS SUPPLIER PRODUCT UPLOADER → Dropship Notification Add-on as shown in the image below:

General

Enable - enables or disables the extension functionality. Select Yes in the dropdown to activate the extension.

Dropship Notification

Email Template - allows choosing an email template in the list to be sent to suppliers. The Default Email template is set by default.

Send Email Notification - choose Yes to send an e-mail to suppliers notifying that their orders are ready to be dropshipped.

Should Change Order Status - allows selecting an order status which will be set after the order has been drop shipped. Choose Yes and the new options New Order Status will appear.

New Order Status - after the order has been drop shipped, you can set what order status will be applied to the drop shipped order. The Pending status is set by default. The following statuses are available:

  • Pending
  • Processing
  • Suspected Fraud
  • Complete
  • Closed
  • Canceled
  • On Hold
