WordPress Restricted Site Access (SAR) - Restriction Types (Block Whole Page vs. Show Excerpt With Fade Effect)
Restriction Types
Introduction
The WordPress Restricted Site Access plugin allows you to restrict pages in three ways:
- Redirecting to another page
- Completely hiding the content
- Partially hiding the content, with fade effect
This article will cover cases two and three. A side-by-side comparison:

You can choose between them globally (as a default setting) and on each post.
Global Setting (Default)
Head to CM SIte Access Restriction Pro → Settings → General tab.

Specific Page Setting
You can control access to specific pages or post using a metabox located in each page or post once editing the post.
