What is This Feature

With the autocomplete feature of the WordPress Search Engine Plugin, the search box will suggest certain terms based on what what the user is searching.

Accessing Feature

Head to Admin Dashboard → CM Search Tools → Dashboard.

All settings are found within the tab Suggest Dashboard.


Adding a Suggest Rule

Enter the terms on the left field and save changes.

You can add as many rules as you like. Click Delete to remove a rule, but be aware that there is no confirmation.

How Autocompletion Works

Suggestions will trigger as soon as the user types something in the search bar.

The plugin searches any segment of the suggested words. For example, the suggested word "FAQ" can be triggered with F, A, Q, FA and AQ. You can choose if letter case is taken into account from the plugin settings.
