What is This Feature

With this WordPress File Manager plugin it's possible to enable preview for these files extensions:

doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf, pages, ai, psd, tiff, dxf

This means that users can preview these files before downloading them. The plugin uses Google services (Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Presentations) for this feature.

Here is an example of the feature:

Turning it On

First, navigate to the Admin Dashboard → CM Downloads Pro → Settings. Click on the Download Page tab. Then, under section Preview and Player, you will find two relevant settings, which are highlighted below:

• Preview support mode - You can disable it globally, enable it globally or let the uploader decide.
• Enable preview for each attachment - If the download includes multiple files, this will let the user preview each.
