You can configure some core settings of the WordPress Client Zone plugin in the path Admin Dashboard → CM Downloads Pro → Index Page → Client Download Zone.

• Client Download Zone shortcode attribute - Here you can set the default value of these parameters in the "List of Files from a Category" shortcode.

  If you don't specify them when inputting the shortcode, their default value will be used. Learn more about this shortcode in its specific guide.

  • limit=10 (limits the results to 10 entries)
  • view=categories (documents will be arranged by linear categories list)
  • search=1 (enables the documents' AJAX-based search engine field)
  • filter=0 (disables the documents' filter field)
  • categoryfilter=1 (enables documents by category)
  • usercontrols=1 (enable the user buttons "Edit" or "Delete".)
  • sort=newest (sorts entries by date)
  • urlfilter=1 (enables filtering by URL)
  • userfilter=1 (enables filtering by user)
  • tagsfilter=1 (enables filtering by tag)

• Enable Category Filter - Enables the category filter on the front-end. This option affects the shortcode parameter categoryfilter in the option Client Download Zone shortcode attribute. Note: this option was introduced in version 1.4.7.

  

• Enable Author Filter - Enables the author filter on the front-end. This option affects the shortcode parameter userfilter in the option Client Download Zone shortcode attribute. Note: this option was introduced in version 1.4.7.

  

• Enable Tags Filter - Enables the tag filter on the front-end. This option affects the shortcode parameter tagsfilter in the option Client Download Zone shortcode attribute. Note: this option was introduced in version 1.4.7.

  

• Access Denied page content - Specify what to show to users who don't have access to the page. You can use the following shortcodes: 
  • [blogname] - name of the blog
  • [title] - new download title
  • [link] - link to download page
  • [author] - uploader name
  • [author_email] - uploader email
  • [moderate_link] - link to moderation
• Enable notification - Enable this option if you want to send email notifications for users who received files from "Simple user to user" form. Note: this option was introduced in version 1.4.5.
• Subject for "Simple user to user" form - Customize the subject of the "Simple user to user" email template. This email is sent to users, when someone sends them a private file. • Body for "Simple user to user" form - Customize the body of the "Simple user to user" email template. Note: This option was introduced in version 1.4.4. You can use the following shortcodes: 
  • [blogname] - name of the blog
  • [title] - new download title
  • [link] - link to download page
  • [author] - uploader name
  • [author_email] - uploader email
  • [moderate_link] - link to moderation

• Content below the index page title and before downloads list - Specify what is shown in this space. The following example has a sentence set in it:

  

• Show page to all users (including guests) - Self-explanatory.
• Show user downloads only (in list) - Affects the List of Files.

• Enable form for sending files among users - Displays a field where users can select other users to send files to.

  

• Auto create moderated group for registered user role - Enable it to auto create moderated group and category for registered user.
• Role for moderator of auto created group - Choose the role for moderator of auto created group.
• Role for member of auto created group - Choose the role for member of auto created group.
• Restrict files list view by user category - Enable it to show only files from category moderated by user group.
