If the expert owner doesn't have a WP profile user on your site, it will be created using the email that the expert user used for suggesting/claiming the expert.


Navigate to the Admin Dashboard → CM Expert Directory Pro → Settings.

Click on the Community Expert tab.


Scroll down to  Expert Recovery Settings.

Check the box to enable the expert login and password to be recovered. Update settings. Once checked user will be able to recover their password by going to their expert page and clicking on the password recovery link.

To recover password for editing an expert the user should open an Expert Page of the expert he want to edit and click on the Recover login and password Show/hide to open recovery form. Then, enter his email and click Recover.

After this, he will receive an e-mail with login and password which he can use to log into Community form.

Back-end Admin way

The Admin also has the ability to send the user his password.

Go to the Expert Page and scroll down to the CM Expert Directory Community - Owner Information box. There is a button Click here under the Owner Password label that the admin can click and will be redirected to user profile.

The admin can set there a new password or send the user password reset link.
