To add a new question in the WordPress FAQ plugin, go to Add New Question under the plugin tab. 

Here you can add the question and answer. You can also add media, just like a regular WordPress post. 

You can also add tags, choose an FAQ category, decide whether visitors can vote on your answer, and specify a main category on this page. Main category will show up on the question breadcrumb
