WordPress Glossary Plugin (CMTG) - Index - How To Display Definitions
How To Display Definitions
Note: this guide covers the options that are presented only in the Pro version of the WordPress Glossary plugin.
Pro+ and Ecommerce versions have a wide set of index page templates. Please, learn more about them in this guide: WordPress Glossary Plugin (CMTG) - Index - Index Templates
To find the needed settings, navigate to Admin Dashboard → CM Tooltip Glossary Pro → Settings → Glossary Index Page tab.

Here we need two options under the Glossary Index Page Settings section:

- Show glossary index page with definition - Enable this option if you want to display definitions next to each term on the index page.
- Display excerpt instead of definition on the index page - Enable this option if you want to display term excerpts instead of the full definitions on the index page. Works only if the option above is enabled. Note: this option was introduced in version 4.3.0.
