Restricting Categories

The WordPress Pay Per Post plugin allows you to restrict all posts within a specific category.

You can find needed settings by going to Admin Dashboard → CM Pay Per Posts Pro → Settings → Category Pricing tab .

The options are:

Enable categories pricing - If enabled users will be able to purchase posts by category price. Enables the category price paywall box on the front-end.
Payment model - Choose the payment system you want to use. The list will show the plugins which are installed and activated on your site. You can choose between:
- CM Micropayment Platform (supported since version 2.7.0)
- Easy Digital Downloads
- WooCommerce (supported since version 2.7.0)
Specific post categories - Choose one or multiple categories to set a specific pricing for them.
Set price and period for selected categories - Choose the period type, define the duration and price.
Delay restriction - This option allows to show newly created posts for free during specific period of time since their publication. To turn this option on for a selected category, check the box Enable, then set the number of Days since publication date. Note: This option was introduced in version 2.7.0.
Start - Click this button after selecting needed categories and setting up the prices for them.
Deactivate - For each paid category you can see its pricing and a button that allows to disable the pricing. Note: this option was introduced in version 2.6.8.

Show category pricing column in the posts table - If enabled, the Category Pricing column will be displayed in the posts table in the wp-admin. Note: this option was introduced in version 2.6.8.
