WooCommerce Support

The plugin Search and Replace plugin is compatible with WooCommerce. It allows replacing the content in product descriptions, reviews and attribute labels.

Replacing Content in Descriptions and Reviews

To enable search and replace functionality for WooCommerce product descriptions and reviews, navigate to Admin Dashboard → Search & Replace → Settings → Settings tab.

Find the option Search & Replace post types and choose there a post type related to WooCommerce - Product (product).

Then click the button Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Now let's create a rule. Head to the tab Replacement Rules.

For example, we have a t-shirt as a product. And we want to replace "T-Shirt" to "TOP". Our rule will be the following:

Now let's see the product page and its description before and after replacing:

The same will work for the Reviews tab - before and after replacing:

Replacing In WooCommerce Attribute Labels

In case, if you have variable products instead of simple Products, you can have some product variations based on attributes. In our example, we add as attributes for our t-shirt - Color and Size.

To apply replacement rules to product attributes, navigate to the Extensions tab.

Find the option Search & Replace in WooCommerce Attribute Labels and enable it.

Then click the button Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Now let's head back to the Replacement Rules tab and create 2 new rules - for replacing "Size" to "CHOOSE SIZE" and "Color" to "CHOOSE COLOR".

Here's how it looks like on the front-end before and after replacing:

This way you can easily search and replace the content on WooCommerce product pages.
