Tooltip Glossary Term Error "Update Failed"
What It Is
When trying to update the glossary term in the WordPress Glossary plugin, you receive the message that update is failed.
It can happen in case if you use Cloudflare, and it's blocking authenticated users actions with Glossary URLs. So, this case demands a little configuration.
Troubleshooting
You need to access your customer dashboard at cloudflare.com.
Navigate to Firewall → Managed Rules tab. There you will find the section Cloudflare Managed Ruleset.
You need to find Cloudflare Specials and click on it to configure.
A list of rules will open.
You need to find the rule 100173 - XSS, HTML Injection - Script Tag and Disable it.
This will allow end-users access and use the URL needed for updating the glossary items.
