Ultimate Member Integration
Note: this guide requires to be installed and activated the following plugins:
- WordPress Questions and Answers - This document uses the Pro version 4.6.8
- Ultimate Member - This document uses the version 2.4.2
The WordPress Questions and Answers has the integration with the plugin Ultimate Member. The integration feature adds a custom CMA tab into the Ultimate Member user profile.
This tab will display all questions asked by the user and the form for submitting questions.
Front-End Example
Plugin Settings
To enable the integration, navigate to Admin Dashboard → Ultimate Member → Settings → Appearance → Profile Menu.
The following options are related to the integration:
CMA Questions Tab - Check this option if you want to enable the integration of the Questions and Answers plugin to Ultimate Member. The CMA tab will appear in the user profile.
A forum tab integrated to the Ultimate Member profile - Who can see CMA Questions Tab - Choose, which user will be able to see the CMA tab in user's profile:
- Anyone
- Guests only
- Members only
- Only the owner
- Only specific roles
- Owner and specific roles
- Allowed roles - Choose user roles which will be able to see the CMA tab in user's profile in case if there was chosen either Only specific roles or Owner and specific roles in the previous option.
- Profile menu default tab - Here you can choose the menu tab that will be opened by default when visiting user profile. One of the options is CMA Questions.
Don't forget to click the button Save Changes after editing the settings.
