Taxonomies
To configure custom taxonomies in the WordPress Member Directory plugin, navigate to the Admin Dashboard → CM Expert Directory Pro → Settings.

Click on the Taxonomies tab.

Badges
Since the version 2.4.1, it is possible to display badges for experts. These badges can be displayed on expert pages and on feautred images on the index page.

Choose Yes to enable the feature. Additionally you can change labels which are used on the back-end.
Example
When the option above is enabled, a new menu appears in the menu - Badges. There you can create new badges.

When creating or editing an expert, a relevant metabox will appear, where you can assign one or multiple badges to an expert:

Badges will be displayed on featured images on the index page:

And on the expert page:

Additional Taxonomy Settings
Those options are for the plugins additional taxonomy:
- Expertise Taxonomy
- Service Taxonomy
- Language Taxonomy
- Custom Taxonomy 4
- Custom Taxonomy 5
- Custom Taxonomy 6 (Note: this taxonomy was introduced in version 1.7.9)
Check if you want to use a specific taxonomy on your page.

All enabled taxonomies are displayed under the plugin menu:
