To configure custom taxonomies in the WordPress Member Directory plugin, navigate to the  Admin Dashboard → CM Expert Directory → Settings.

Click on the Taxonomies tab.

Additional Taxonomy Settings

Those options are for the plugins additional taxonomy:

  • Expertise Taxonomy
  • Service Taxonomy
  • Language Taxonomy
  • Custom Taxonomy 4
  • Custom Taxonomy 5
  • Custom Taxonomy 6 (Note: this taxonomy was introduced in version 1.7.9)

Check if you want to use a specific taxonomy on your page.

All enabled taxonomies are displayed under the plugin menu:
