"Renew Expert Payments" Settings

This feature was introduced in 1.2.2.

To edit the plugin settings, navigate to the Admin Dashboard → CM Expert Directory → Settings.

Click on the Payments tab.

Here you can edit certain features, including those related to renewing expert payments.

Require payments for renewing expertes? - Select this option if you wish to require payments for renewing the experts. If you select this option it will be necessary to pay for the expert to stay (to be visible) in the directory.
Mark all existing items as payed - Select this option if you want to set all of the existing experts as payed. The payments will be required only after renewal time passes. NOTE: This will only work if the Require payments for renewing expertes? was not checked earlier!

TIP: How it works

When the option is enabled, a new column will appear in the expert list - Subscription date.

Color values for subscription date:

Black color means that subscription is active.
Yellow color means that subscription expires today.
Red color means that subscription has already expired.
Dash means that the date is not set (it shows for the experts that was created before enabling Require payments for renewing experts? option, and the value is not defined yet for them.

You can edit subscription date for every expert in Edit expert in the section Subscription date.

Select an existing WooCommerce Product which will be required to Renew Expert. Or choose the name and price and click Create New WooCommerce Product to automatically create and assign new WooCommerce Product.

Also, you can set for how many days the expert will be displayed in the directory before the next payment becomes necessary.

Email Notification

There are also options to customize email subject and content sent to experts for renewing payment. Admin can also customize the email sent to experts after payment is confirmed.

Notify about Expert renewal required? - Check the box to enable the notification.
"Renewal required" notification ahead time - Select when the renewal notification should be sent.
"Renewal required" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent informing about the renewal payment being required for the expert to be displayed in the directory.
"Renewal required" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent informing about the renewal payment being required for the expert to be displayed in the directory. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {purchase_link} {activation_page}
"Payment confirmation" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to renew a expert.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to renew a expert. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {code} {activation_link}
