Form Fields
The following fields can be added to the contact form:
Placing fields
Click on a field in the list to the right to add it to the Contact Form.
You can also select and drag the field inside the area with the dashed border.
To change the position of a field, select and drag it into position:
All fields have a menu in the top right corner where you can edit, copy or remove the field:
You will be asked to confirm if you are sure you want to remove a field:
Always save your changes by selecting the Update button at the bottom of the page:
Field settings
The field settings are opened by default when you add a new field to the form area.
To open the settings again, select the Edit button (the pen). To minimize the settings, you can select the Close button at the bottom:
When a field setting is minimized, you can see a preview of the field.
The following settings are available for all fields:
- Required: To mark a form field as required, check the box at the very top of the field settings.
- Change Label: This option changes the label for the field. Keep this short and descriptive.
- Tooltip text: With this option you can add additional information about the field. The text is displayed as a tooltip when the visitor hovers over the field.
- CSS Class: You can change the style of your field to better match your WordPress theme by adding custom CSS classes. Classes needs be separated by a space.
- It is not recommended to remove existing classes. Only remove these if you have a custom design that you want to use instead.
- Field Meta Key: This key is a unique identifier that sets fields apart. For instance, two separate text fields will be differentiated by their Meta Key.
- Only the admin can see it and it's recommended to change this to something more easily remembered. The key can include alphanumeric characters and underscores.
Text Input
In the Text Input settings view, you can add a Label, Tooltip Text and Placeholder value:
You can also select a default value and max length of the input.
If you select Type, you can choose between these options:
- Text Input
- Password
- Color
- Tel
Text Area
In the Text Area settings view, you can add a Label, Tooltip Text and Placeholder value:
You can also select a default value, max length, and the number of rows that the text area should have.
If you select Type, you can choose between these options:
- Textarea
- Quill
Select Quill if you want to use a Text Area with additional options for styling the content:
Number
In the Number settings view, you can add a Label, Tooltip Text and Placeholder value.
You can select the min and max value, and the number of steps in between.
Here is an example of what the number field can look like on the front-end:
Select
In the Select settings view, you can add a Label, Tooltip Text and Placeholder value.
You can also choose to allow multiple selections.
The list starts with 3 options.
To add a new option, select the Add Option + button.
To remove an option, click the red cross next to the option:
The option with the blue toggle is the option that will be selected by default. -Click the toggle button to change the selected option.
Each option has two important input fields:
The first field is the label for the option. This is the text that will be shown in the select list. The second field is the value.
Radio Group
In the Radio Group settings view, you can add a Label and Tooltip Text.
With radio buttons, only one option can be selected.
The radio group starts with 3 options.
To add a new option, select the Add Option + button
To remove an option, click the red cross next to the option.
The option with the blue toggle is the option that will be selected by default.
Click the toggle button to change the selected option.

The first field is the label for the option. This is the text that will be shown next to the button. The second field is the value.
Checkbox group
In the Checkbox Group settings view, you can add a Label and Tooltip Text.
The Checkbox group starts with 1 option.
To add a new option, select the Add Option + button
To remove an option, click the red cross next to the option.
Options with the blue toggle will be checked by default. Click the toggle button to change its status.
Each option has two important input fields:
The first field is the label for the option. This is the text that will be shown next to the checkbox. The second field is the value.
Date
In the Date settings view, you can add a Label, Tooltip Text and a default value:
