CM Tooltip (CMTG) - Troubleshooting - Sorting Terms Alphabetically

Terms are displayed out of alphabetical order

Back to User Guide

If your glossary terms appear to be out of alphabetical order on the Glossary Index Page, it is probably because you have irrelevant characters in the term name, such as spaces and dashes.

Look to find any white-space in the beginning of term titles which are out of alphabetical order and seem to be misplaced. Such mistakes happen when copy-pasting terms, sometimes causing white-spaces to be added.

WordPress does not trim any characters from the title, and this is a default WP behavior, we are not able to override this flaw.

Settings

Options related to the Alphabetical Index can be found in Admin Dashboard → CM Tooltip → Settings → Glossary Index Page → Alphabetic Index.
