Adding CM Answer to PeepSo

You can add CM Answers to PeepSo in many ways using CM Answers shortcodes. Here is an example showing one possible implementation.

Create a questions list page

You can create a question index page using a shortcode [cma-questions] and place the PeepSo profile widget in the sidebar.

Create a question form submission page

You can create a page which only includes the new question submission form using the shortcode [cma-question-form title=1 ].

Viewing all user questions and answers

Once user is posting his question or answer clicking on the user name takes you to his profile.

Showing questions and answers in user feed

Admin can define if questions or answers posted by the user will be shown on his feed. This is defined in the AddOn config and there is setting for questions and answers separately.

Admin can also define what will me the message that will be shown around the posted question or answer and can customize it for both questions or answers.

While adjusting the output admin can use the following shortcodes

[fullname] - user's display name

[title] - question's title

[permalink] - question's permalink

[excerpt] - question's excerpt

Allowing user to follow questions posted in categories

The CM Answers system is designed to support user notification in two cases

1 - When user post a question or answer an existing one he can follow all replies to this question by selecting "notify me" on the question or answer form as show below.

2 - In AddOn config admin can add the option to add a tab to the user profile, letting him follow all new questions posted to categories he is subscribed to.

Once enabled user can mark all categories he wants to follow by clicking on the Follow Category link found under the Subscription tab in his profile.

He can revert this by clicking again on the unfollow.
