Embedding and Sharing Terms

Starting from version 3.7 of the WordPress Glossary plugin, it's possible to embed terms in other pages. This requires Pro+ or eCommerce edition of the plugin.

One example of the embed in a post would be this:

Note that embeds are updated when the original content is modified.


Enabling and Fetching the Code

To enable this option, navigate to Admin Dashboard → CM Tooltip Glossary → Settings.

Head to the Glossary Term tab and enable the option Display embed button on top of the Term Page?:

Once this option is on, the button Embed will be available on all term pages, for all users. Example:

Clicking the button will reveal the embed code, which is an iFrame that can be copied to other websites:

Additionally, clicking on the share button of an embedded tooltip will reveal the HTML embed and WordPress Embed codes.
