Custom Order Status - Orders

Orders

Back to User Guides

Now that you’ve successfully configured the module, let’s dive in and see how it works.

Order Grid

Depending on the options you selected during configuration, your order grid may show 2 new columns, which replace the old single-status column.
Though information cannot be changed from the order grid directly, this offers a great “at-a-glance” perspective on how orders are flowing through your operations, and allows you to filter which orders are displayed. This can be more convenient than navigating to the independent report, and it’s also a great way to ensure that you don’t waste time looking at unpaid or already-shipped orders.

Order Page

On the order page, you’ll now see two selectors, which are populated with the status categories created in the  Configuration section.
You can change one or both of these order statuses and choose whether or not to notify the customer of the changes.
You can also see all of the historical changes that have been made since the module was installed.
