Footnotes Index Page

Footnotes index page is optional and include in it all footnotes defined and a reference to the articles it was defined on. It is a useful page to summarize all your footnotes. 

  • Navigate to the Footnote Index Page tab.

  • In the Footnote Index Page Settings box, check the box to enable the Footnote Index Page to be displayed with definition near the footnote. Enter a value in the box for the maximum number of related articles that can display near the footnote.

  • In the left side of the Search box, check the box to enable search on the Footnote Index page. Enter values in the boxes to label the search button and label the link to the Footnote Index Page.
  • On the right side of the Search box, enter values to label the search input, create text for a no result search response, and create text for a search hint.

  • In the Sharing box, check the box to enable the social icons sharing box on the Footnote Index Page. Enter a value to label the sharing box.

  • In the Pagination box, decide how many elements should be displayed on the page by entering a value in the Paginate Footnote Index Page. Choose a Pagination type from the drop down menu.

  • In the left side of the Alphabetic Index box, choose which letters should appear in the alphabetic index and create a label for the alphabetic index. Check the box to enable a numeric alphabetic index. This also support UTF8 letters in any language.
  • In the right side of the Alphabetic Index box, choose the size of the letters for the alphabetic index. Check the box to enable all values in the index to be shown. Enter the value to choose a locale to sort the items in the footnote index.
  • Click the Save Changes button to save.
