The Route Manager Custom Field Add-On allows you to show custom fields of any route anywhere on your site via a shortcode.

Example

Why Use This Feature?

The major benefit is that, whenever you edit a route and change its custom fields' values, the shortcode content will change automatically.

This prevents duplicate work.

Adding Shortcode

To add a specific custom field of a route, you should use the shortcode  [route-custom-field id="" key=""]

Parameters

  • id - Identifies the route. If you are using the shortcode on the route page, you can skip this parameter
  • key - Identifies the custom field

Example

TIP: Locating ID

Check the URL address bar when editing a route via the back-end

TIP: Locating Key

It's the field "Meta key (alphanumeric)" you edit when creating custom fields
