Warning Hint

The warning hint helps you quickly find pages that need special attention.

  • Show warning/hint for worrying values Display a red circle indicator and a tooltip when a value is significantly lower than the median of that column.

They can be triggered in two ways: if the value is lower than the median by a percentage or if it's lower than the median by a fixed value.

  • Median difference warning threshold (percentage)The warning/hint will show only if the value differs from the median by a margin higher than this setting value. This applies to all numeric fields. The default value is 20.
    • For example, if the median of clicks is 100, 90 will not trigger the warning, but 70 will (because is more than 20% lower than 100).
  • Warning level for the Impressions (fixed amount) - The warning/hint will only show for the values which will be lower than this setting value. The default value is 100.
  • Warning level for the CTR (fixed amount) - The warning/hint will only show for the values which will be lower than this setting value. The default value is 0.1.
  • Warning level for the Bounce Rate (fixed amount) - The warning/hint will only show for the values which will be lower than this setting value. The default value is 90.
  • Warning level for the Conversion (fixed amount) -  The warning/hint will only show for the values which will be lower than this setting value. The default value is 2.

Warning Example

Let's consider these settings:
  • Median difference warning threshold (percentage) - 20%
  • Warning level for the Impressions (fixed amount) - 10
If the median is 100,
  • 50 will trigger the warning (it matches both conditions)
  • 85 will trigger the warning (it matches one condition - it's more than 10 below the median)
  • 99 will not trigger the warning (it doesn't match any condition)
Impressions warning text

The warning comes with a tooltip that can work as a reminder of how to proceed.

You can configure this warning text for:

  • Impressions
  • CTR
  • Bounce Rate
  • Conversion Rate
