Requesting Back In Stock Notification

Back to User Guides

When Customers are viewing products that have gone Out of Stock on your store the Back In Stock extension will display a Message informing the customer of this along with an input field for them to enter their email address to receive an email.

After the customer has filled out the email field and clicked the Notify Me button a success message will appear at the top of the window informing them that their request was successful and they will receive an email as soon as the product comes back into stock.

When the Product comes back into stock the customer will receive an email from the store informing them of this with a link to the product.

What Happens When User Sees Unavailable Product?

The user is informed that the product is unavailable and can subscribe to be notified when it's back on stock.

If the customer tries to checkout a product that is not available, it will be automatically back ordered.
