True Edit Orders - Enabling Editing Based on Role

Changing Permission to Edit Based on Role

Back to User Guides

The admin can either enable or disable particular site roles from editing orders using True Edit Orders.

To change these permission settings, head to System â†’ Permissions â†’ Roles (the admin must have access to permissions to modify this).

In this screen, select the role you wish to modify. In this example, we will use the "Demo" role.

Once you are editing it, head to Role Resources:

If Access is set to all, this role has total control, including to edit orders with True Edit Orders. If it's Custom, you can set different permissions.

You can revoke this permission by toggling off Editing Orders, which is under Order Edit. As a result, this role will not be able to edit orders by using the extension.
