WordPress Glossary Plugin (CMTG) - Extras - Opening Term on a new Tab

Open Glossary Term on a New Tab

Back to User Guide

In the WordPress Glossary plugin’s settings control panel, you can define whether the link to your glossary Terms will open a new tab or window.

To set this feature, simply go to the tab Glossary Term and under the Links section, check the box as shown in the image below:

If you leave this box unchecked, newly clicked glossary terms will be opened in the same tab, and the viewer will be taken out of the page.

Changing Settings on Individual Pages

You can make each page behave differently from the default behavior.

To do so, when editing a page, use the CM Tooltip - Disables metabox.

Check the option "Overwrite the 'Open glossary term page in a new windows/tab". This setting will override the default behavior.
