CM Expert Directory Payments (CMED Add-On) - How To - Customize Emails Content

E-Mails Content

In the CM Expert Directory Payments Add-On, users can receive e-mails with activation links, payments requests or payments statuses. Admin has an option to edit these emails content and subject.

To edit emails navigate to the Admin Dashboard → CM Expert Directory → Settings.

Click on the Payments tab.

On this tab admin can edit email's content and subject for adding new, claiming and renewing experts.

You can turn on the option Send all emails to website admin email - Enable it if you want to duplicate all email notifications to website admin email as BCC (that will be considered further in that guide) to the website admin email. Note: this option was introduced in version 1.2.5.

Add New Expert Payments

"Payment required" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user adds the expert and it passes the moderation.
"Payment required" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user adds the expert and it passes the moderation. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {purchase_link} {activation_page}.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to add a new expert.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to add a new expert. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {code} {activation_link}.

Claim Expert Payments

"Payment required" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user claims the expert informing that it requires payment.
"Payment required" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user claims the expert informing that it requires payment. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {purchase_link} {activation_page}.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to claim a expert.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to claim a expert. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {code} {activation_link}.

Renew Expert Payments

"Renewal required" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent informing about the renewal payment being required for the expert to be displayed in the directory.
"Renewal required" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent informing about the renewal payment being required for the expert to be displayed in the directory. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {purchase_link} {activation_page}.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail subject - Topic of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to renew a expert.
"Payment confirmation" e-mail content - Content of the e-mail being sent after the user purchases the product required to renew a expert. You can use the following placeholders: {expert_name} {code} {activation_link}.
