Settings - Notifications

Notifications are used to send an email to the user submitting his product on the status on the product page and also to the admin managing the directory. In both cases you can customize the email template and decide it should be sent at all.

Navigate to the  Admin Dashboard -> CM Product Directory -> Settings.

Click on the  Community Product tab.

Scroll down to the  Notification Settings section.

Admin Notifications

Each time a new product listing will be submitted a notification will show up in the admin area.

  • Admin panel notification - Select this option if you want the admin to see notifications in admin dashboard when a new product was added.(Works only when "Moderate new product" option is enable).
  • Admin email notification - Select this option if you want the admin to receive notification when a new product has been added.
  • Admin email - Enter the admin e-mail/e-mails splitted by "," or leave empty so the e-mail will be send to WordPress administrator.

Admin email notification

Each time a new product listing will be submitted an email notification will be sent to the admin email

  • Admin email notification subject - Enter the admin email notification subject.
  • Admin email notification content - This option let you define the admin notification content. (Works only when the admin notification is enabled).
    You can use tag [product] to display the name and [url] to display the link of the product.

Admin claim notifications

Each time a product will be claimed admin will recieve an email notification

  • Admin claim email notification subject - Enter the admin claim email notification subject.
  • Admin claim email notification content - This option let you define the claim notification content. (Works only when the admin notification is enabled).
    You can use tag [product], [url], [email], [name], [accept_url] to display the name of the product, claimer name and email and url to accept the notification.

User status notification

Will notify users when his product submittion was accepted or declined

  • User - status changed email notification - Select this option if you want the user to receive notification when the status of their product has been changed.
  • User - status changed email notification subject - Enter the user email notification subject.
  • User - status changed email notification content - This option let you define the user notification content. (Works only when user notification is enabled).
    You can use tags: [product], [old_status], [new_status] to display the name, old status and new status of the product).

User claim notifications

Will notify users the status of his product claim request

  • User - claim rejected email notification - Select this option if you want the user to receive notification when their product claim has been rejected.
  • User - claim rejected email notification subject - Enter the subject of the claim rejected e-mail.
  • User - claim rejected email notification content - This option let you define the user notification content. (Works only when user notification is enabled).
    You can use tag: [product] to indicate product name.

User access notifications

When a user post his new product listing and it is approved by admin, an email containing his username and password for accessing and updating the listing will be sent to him

  • User access email notification subject - Enter the user access email notification subject.
  • User access email notification content - This option let you define the user notification content.
    You can use tags: [product], [status], [login], [password], [url] to display the name, status of the product, user login and password and your login panel url.
